That song is good, is really good good! That song is good, is really good good! But wouldn’t you please sing us again, Wouldn’t you sing us, one more, the old one. Oh wouldn’t you please sing us again, Oh wouldn’t you sing us, one more, the old one. You know the one you used to sing every night. The one that everybody would sing along too, Standing on their chairs, and shaking and yelling! Don’t you know what you knew? Remember what is true! Don’t you know what you knew? Dig in your head. Call up your mind! Dig in your head. Dig in your dumb head! And wouldn’t you please sing us again, Oh wouldn’t you please sing us, one more, the old one! People are rocking, people are roaring, Everybody’s waiting for you. People are waiting. "-Do you get it? Is this it? We need it!” (I recall the ivory palm. Your hand in mine. The southern breeze. Our soft kisses ,that remain golden and true.) That song is good, is really good good! That song is good, is really good good! But wouldn’t you please sing us again, Wouldn’t you sing us, one more, the old one. Oh wouldn’t you please sing us again, Oh wouldn’t you sing us, one more, the old one.

He who has won the golden sun, Might like to know to whom the moon goes. Good losing boys wave to the crowd, With a big wide grin, on the starting grid. Did we ever shoot an arrow up to the sky, Without seeing it fall back to the ground? Falling is in the very essence of living. And, isn’t it pleasant to read something good about the evil, When it’s not another stupid worship or the like? Failing is in the very essence of living. And, does majority means majority worth being? Losing is the very essence of living. Poor winning ace is still on the race. He roams on the land, because the road has gone. He who has sought where the moon goes, Might like to feel the golden sun.

Holy Chance 03:59
Four thousands of thousands of thousands of years. Of creation, mutation, evolution. To lead up to you. Four thousands of thousands of thousands of years. Of creation, mutation, evolution. And I’m here next to you. And the earth moves, moves, moves as never before. So do you. So do you. I feel like I was just a simple cell, that happened to chance upon a wondrous shell. A crawling dinosaur, gaping at the sky, so thrilled to see you fly. A stone age man, dancing with a ballerina. Four thousands of thousands of thousands of years. Of creation, mutation, evolution. To lead up to you.

Sweety Dale 02:34
Sweety Dale, sweety Dale. Sweety Dale, sweety Dale. I know someone to fix everything. I know someone, sweety Dale. I know someone to fix everything. I know someone, it’s sweet Adele. Sweet Adele, sweet Adele. Sweet Adele, sweet Adele.

It’s like when you’re upstream. Upstream from the river, where the river’s nothing but a little tinsel. Dip your hands in, dip your hands in! And feel the brook that rushes through your fingers, And the warmth sneaking in, deep, deep, deep in your bowels. Then you go down. You go down where the river takes you along, Through the dale that he drew among the green, the groves and the hills. Wash your body here, wash your body there! The channel’s deep enough, so take off you clothes, And feel the warmth spreading in, deep, deep, deep in your bowels. Forget the rivulet, forget the brook! Let’s hail the wide king! Come in the tributaries! Come in, and join to the stream! Now you can swim in, you can boat in and set off to the sea. And feel the warmth flooding in, deep, deep, deep in your bowels. I had rather get back up on the bank now. And walk a little while. Find a hill to climb

Go Up Now! 04:30
You’re the cat, The cunning cat. Of the blackest dye Known as the devil’s eye. I’m the dog, The loyal dog With the strongest jaw No one ever saw. You move with no sound. Softly gracefully. Clad in the glint of the stars, you keep moving on. Then fade in the dark. Wrestling heroes, Like the charioteers In their quadrigae, Flock to the grocery store. Here they’re arriving, For the big meeting With the bondage queen At the top of the bill. You move with no sound. Softly gracefully. Clad in the glint of the stars, you keep moving on. Then I call out And find myself awake With you by my side Telling me, now you could work it out. Work it out, and go up now!

Milk Soup 03:02
One hit, a second hit. Won’t you stop? Won’t you stop singing this girl is yours. This girl is yours. This girl is yours. Three girls walking in a row. Selling their pride for the one who can. Look down and mop the floor. Mop the floor. Mop the floor. Four bars of a teenage band. Rocking their heads like their teacher told them to. Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. The star shape, in the star hole. The cross shape, in the cross hole. It doesn’t sound that complicated. But if you need some help, some good support, I can give you a hand, I can give it a push. And I’ll try my best to squeeze it in. And if it still doesn’t fit, if it still doesn’t suit, I’ll bring a couple of tools to make it so. And show you how to use a hammer and a motor saw. Just swing it, swing it, till everything blows. Five nails to the end of a broken hand. Ashes in the strings of the folk singer. Hear him complaining: "Was that so vain? Was that so vain? Was that so vain?"

I see you watching me from the cover of the magazine, As the blade on my face, gently slides up and down. Your eyes focus on me, like you wanna reach me. Like you wanna reach me. Like you wanna reach me! You keep staring. You keep staring. You keep staring. I pay my due to the barber and don’t linger any longer. No sooner was I down on the street, just relieved, That I stumble on your face, hang on the billboard ad. I lower my cap and stick to my way But I can feel your gaze on my back chasing me. Chasing me. Chasing me! You keep staring. You keep staring. You keep staring. I quicken my pace and run into the first shop I see. All confused I wander through the alleys of the store, When gradually before me, looms a vision of horror: Like a mythological beast, with your multiplied head And your multiplied eyes, That keep staring. That keep staring. That keep staring! Then comes the dealer, his hand on my shoulder: “I wouldn’t dare any word of advice, but buy one, the second’s half-price!” You keep staring. You keep staring. You keep staring. ”-Gimme three of this if it’s the only thing to regain peace!” You keep staring. You keep staring. You keep staring!

It’s been a memorable tiring day. Alackaday there was no other way, they say. But ain’t no use in continuing the long run, So let’s tell everybody that the work’s all done. The work’s all done! The work’s all done! Undo the overall and cut the engine off. We got what we need, and we don’t need much more. We don’t need much more, but the rays of the sun To dry out the sweat, since the work’s all done. The work’s all done! The work’s all done! Move all the gear away and make a big room. Garland the factory with flowers in their bloom. Bring everything you think that could be fun, Cause it’s time to celebrate that the work’s all done. The work’s all done! The work’s all done! Tomorrow is to be a nice and jolly day to share. Let’s move on the something else, as pure as the air. Think of what could be the era that has just begun; Say farewell to the labors cause the work’s all done. The work’s all done! The work’s all done!

Glorious 02:36
It’s a bunch of a time. It’s a bunch of a time. It’s a bunch of a time, since I last saw you. You! The Glorious you! Vagabond, vagabond, you do ramble like a vagabond. Vagabond, vagabond, I do ramble like a vagabond. And hope someday, our vagabondages will meet again. On a glorious day. In a glorious hole. In a glorious hole. On a glorious day.

about

Deja Mu (a pun on Déjà vu) is eager to operate mutations, to play and wander through musical genres such a rockabilly, blues or flamenco. Formerly the one-man-band of Philippe Bellet (guitar, voice), Deja Mu became a duet with the arrival of Ludovic Montet (drums, voice), a longstanding friend and musical partner in many projects of contemporary, medieval, improvised or classical music.
From their numerous adventures, they have kept a taste for exploration and candid and ageless experimentations.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
